Ambassadors Welcome State Representative-Elect Tom Sexton as Newest Chamber Member
 
Waseca, MN. – The Waseca Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Minnesota State Representative-Elect Tom Sexton has officially joined the Chamber. The Chamber’s Ambassadors recently welcomed  Representative-Elect Sexton, highlighting his commitment to supporting our local business community and fostering economic development in Waseca and the surrounding areas.
 
Sexton, who was elected to serve House District 19B, brings a Fresh and dedicated perspective to his role as a legislator. His background in the United States Military, the private sector, local government, and as a long-time resident of Waseca equips him with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing local businesses.
 
Abby Clemons, President and Membership Committee member of the Waseca Chamber said “We are excited to have Tom as a part of our Chamber family, and we look forward to working with him to continue building a thriving business environment in Waseca.” Chamber President-Elect and Ambassador Mikhail Rostislavovich stated, “Having a sound leader like Tom Sexton join our Chamber strengthens our collective voice and ensures that Waseca’s Businesses and residents will continue to be heard in St. Paul.”
 
During the Ambassador's visit, Tom expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and reiterated his dedication to maintaining an open line of communication with our business community. He emphasized the importance of public-private partnerships and pledged to support efforts that strengthen the local economy; “every elected official should be a member of their local Chambers of Commerce, it aids in closing the loop between our communities and the State Capital.” Sexton went on to say, “ I plan to make myself available to the Chamber Membership, and the greater community, as often as I can.”
 
The Waseca Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors play a key role in welcoming new members and fostering connections within the business community. Their goal is to promote collaboration and ensure that all members feel supported in their business endeavors.
