Chamber of Commerce Has Significant Board Expansion
Waseca, MN. – February 7, 2025 – The Waseca Area Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce a remarkable expansion of its Board of Directors, having doubled its size over the past few months. This strategic growth emphasizes the Chambers’s commitment to fostering young entrepreneurs and emerging leaders within the community.

Each new board member brings a unique strength to the organization, with expertise spanning organizational management, event planning, and finance. This well-rounded team of Chamber members is the driving force behind the Chamber's ongoing success, demonstrating high levels of engagement and dedication.

Our 2025 board members include: Mikhail Rostislavovich as President, Jodie Thompson of Edina Realty as President-Elect, Dr. Jay Bulfer of Growing Roots Chiropractic as Vice President, Heath Miller of Minnwest Bank as Treasurer, Katie Gonzales of State Farm Insurance as Secretary, Abbey Clemens of Suburban Furniture as the Immediate Past President, Jamie Backstrand of United Praire Bank, Jessica Klinger of Minnwest Bank, and Aaron Omtvedt of Dennis-Steffel-Omtvedt Funeral Homes and Crematory all serving as Directors.

Reflecting on the new Board of Directors, Chamber President Mikhail Rostislavovich stated, “Our board’s expansion is a testament to our dedication to inclusivity and innovation.
